The MATT measures 30 specific movements that the patient, referred to as a “Client”, executes while doing the 6 movement actions of the Tinetti test. The Tinetti test is one of the recognized Kinesiology standard mobility tests of a client’s gait and balance. The original Tinetti test is a subjective test requiring the observation and scoring by a physiology professional. The MATT is a fully computerized, objective and repeatable automated assessment of a client’s gait and balance and is based on the testing design and functionality of the Tinetti test.
